CHOCOLATE BUSINESS

News From Chocolate Adventure

It’s been hot in WA. Not spicy, stolen or sexy hot, but sweltering, stifling and scorching hot. It must be a welcome relief seeing some cloud cover and rain appearing on BOM – to our WA Presenters we are sending cool thoughts from Brisbane. Coconut roughs are our best seller, and our most prone to extreme heat. It may be worthwhile mentioning this to guests if you’re experiencing a heatwave. We will naturally replace or refund in full all stock that is damaged. Admin likes a photo for our records. New labels are now attached to all boxes claiming the contents are “not edible alone”. Startrack have not “lost” a carton with this new labelling in place. Keep cool wherever you are – Jay and Kay.

Keep it under wraps (pun intended!)

Below are three of the top suggestions that we will be including in our 2016 catalogue:
Thank you all for your wonderful input…keep it up 🙂 lots more exciting products coming out in the new year (shhhh – it’s a secret)
We may release another three in next weeks business news

Cherry bites coated in dark chocolate
Snakes coated in milk chocolate
Caramel bites coated in milk chocolate

Another piece of very exciting news is that we we will have close to 40 – YES! you heard correctly, 40 gluten free products in our catalogue next year and that’s not even including the non food items!!!

Recruit in Brisbane for generous rewards

Brisbane needs more Presenters!!!  We’re lagging behind the rest of Australia and we need more representation.
Presenters who recruit a Brisbane region before 2016 will receive a $20 voucher to spend how they wish or give to a friend or family member
(this offer is valid for any active Presenter within Australia)

Jump on board this fantastic offer and lets balance out the map view

Our popular Gummi Bear Promo ends soon…

It,s been a VERY popular promo but it comes to an end next Monday November 30
(individual orders of $40 or above must be placed before COB on Monday Nov 30 to qualify for the FREE Gummi Bears).

Chocad Tips – YES! you get two this week

Shop till they drop!!!
Community markets and shopping events are a great way to gain exposure!
Attend local area holiday shopping events. Customers who are ready to spend holiday money turn out for these events!  You can usually get a stall/stand very reasonably, so they are also very economical to participate in!  Many cities offer Christmas, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Labor Day etc. events at the local Mall for vendors and community people to attend. It’s not just Christmastime Presenters – get out and see whats offered throughout the year in your community and participate to spread the word about your Chocolate Adventure.

We’ve just seen the following post on a local fb community website:

Would anyone like a current Chocolate Adventure catalogue?
Anyone out there wanting to see a catalogue? The next one is full of Xmas ideas
Created lots of likes and the comments including:
Could we have a catalogue please?
Hi, I’d love a current Chocolate Adventure catalogue – someone bought something for me and I’d like more.
I’m @ xxx but I can collect it from you, let me know please.
Chocolate parties – great idea. I’ll hold a party for you in the new year.

ChocAdv Conference Info

Our Conference is fast approaching. The last week of May will see our first ever annual conference. It will be begin in Brisbane on Friday 27th May and finish on Sunday 29th May 2016. Registration cost is $200 (reduced by points earned through 2015 – points earned will be confirmed in December’s commission statement). We would love to see you here. Don’t forget the top three Presenters each month receive points to go towards conference. These points are counted as 1 point = $1 off the registration fee. Our awardees are announced and congratulated at the conclusion of each month.

The top three earners gain 15, 10 and 5 points respectively towards their conference expenses as highlighted above.. We include this information in the business news on the first Thursday of each month along with the recognition. We also include lots of other valuable information so be sure to check your inbox each Thursday ☺
We have other promotions throughout the year where you can earn extra points towards conference via recruiting, party sales and party bookings. This information goes out to you a couple of weeks before the promo starts so you can get the appropriate stationery ready in time.

CHOCOLATE BUSINESS

News From Chocolate Adventure

At admin we’re winding up and very busy knowing that we’ll be spiralling down very soon (phew). We’ve sorted our 2016 catalogue content with many new additions – and many products remaining under $10. Critical to us is carrying sufficient stock to fill Presenters’ orders which will be a juggle with items being discontinued. Two products currently falling into this category are our silicon Christmas moulds (code 5308) and Bowl mould metal (code 5306). The great flip side to this is that we’ll have a lot of stock heavily discounted early in the new year to clear room for our new additions. In December we’re aiming to increase our number of South East Queensland Presenters. $20 Chocolate Adventure gift cards are up for grabs to all Presenters who sign up recruits living local to Brisbane.

2016 catalogues will be available early 2016. All active Presenters will receive a handful of catalogues in the post. If you’re moving house during the break make sure you update “My Profile” in the portal.

Chocad Tip

Universities, TAFE and other Education Centers
Visit the student centers near you.

University students are always looking to spend (or MAKE!) money!  Drop off flyers and business cards to the student center. They usually have free bulletin boards, tables, and other places you can leave your information. Be sure to also check for a place to hang a flyer or leave chocolate gifts in the campus clinic, cafeteria, student affairs office and bookstore. The team at ChocAdv came up with another great idea, which is to go to the campus library and place your business cards into books that are in the “business section” specifically books on how to make more money or part time business ideas. Check if your local campus offers markets during the year or around graduation and other seasonal events where vendors are welcome to set up a stall as well.
