CHOCOLATE BUSINESS

Many things have been written and said about the benefits of leaving people feeling better for having met you – and more importantly when they are working with you. A culture of sharing and supporting is essential for everyone involved in our industry. Combine this with making recruits, hosts and guests feel valued and you’ll have a happy team! – Jay and Kay

Promotion Update

Congratulations to Jo Millet from WA who is our first Presenter to recruit a Brisbane local in our latest promotion. Jo receives a $20 Chocolate Adventure gift card to spend, raffle or give away. Brisbane need to get it’s numbers as we need more representation – we’re feeling rather outnumbered with the growth rate higher in other States especially WA. Of course we love all Presenters no matter where they reside but it will be great to see some of our parcels delivered THE VERY NEXT DAY with less risk of loss in transit or melting 🙂

 Setting up a Facebook Page

We are currently working on various training manuals for our Presenters. These manuals will be provided in different formats depending on the type of training it is.  Remember, we are always available to answer questions on Facebook, over the phone or by email. Our Active Presenters have a wealth of information and will also willingly provide assistance via face-book conversations. We have uploaded ‘Setting up e a Facebook page” to the Non Personalised One Drive folder and you can look at it here. This is a fantastic tool in any business and a few of our #chocad Presenters have done it successfully, so have a look at theirs to get some ideas or ask them questions about what they have found to be successful on their business page. It’s a great way to interact with potential customers, find hosts and recruit Presenters to start making more money through training and supporting them along with direct selling of our wonderful Chocad products. You can put our famous #chocad fondue video on your page too – here is the link
You can also put the video up while hosting a Facebook party.

Be Accessible

Make it easy for customers to find you!

Offer as many contact methods as possible, so that when a customer reaches out, she or he feels like they will be able to get to you. Email, mobile, social media, phone calls and face-to-face are all great contact methods.

Also, make your contact methods easy to remember by using your universal business name as often as possible in all marketing and communication material (i.e. www.chocad.com.au, yournamechocad@email.com.au).
It is important for a customer to remember you when he or she needs to re-order or to refer you to friends, family members, school/sport/social contacts and work colleagues.  Make it super easy for them by providing this information freely and regularly 🙂

CHOCOLATE BUSINESS
You are not alone if you’re experiencing a slower than normal Feb. Combine the way the stars are aligned, school associated fees with the news that a few of our Presenters have had hospital stays for major events, and the results are letting us at admin catch up on putting procedures in place for a busy rest of the year. We have a new addition to our admin team – Donna Mahony. Our very flexible and overlapping roles are Kay in Presenter care, Cindy in logistics, Trista in product development and Donna in admin. And that’s week nine done and dusted. Looking forward to joining you for a busting with busyness March – Jay

(Go QLD and WA!!!)

A VERY BIG WELCOME to our four newest Presenters ☺

Viv Timmermans from QLD
Meagan Butt from WA
Charmaine Lidster from QLD
Esther Bason from WA

A big welcome to you all from the friendly Chocolate Adventure Team. Please show your support to our new Presenters by introducing yourself on Social Media and supporting them on their new Chocolate Adventure Facebook page or asking any questions they may have. We can all remember how it feels when we start a new venture, finding your first host, that first party… more information and support means our new Presenters can have FUN and ADVENTURE in their business much sooner!!!

#Chocadv tip

The key to advertising – always represent what you do ☺

Get a few T-shirts printed with your business information on it and hand them out to friends, family, and co-workers. Ask them to wear them around the community.  Don’t forget whenever you leave your house, especially for business errands to put on your company logo shirt and wear your name tag etc. You can even put a funny chocolate quote on your T-shirt as well as the logo e.g. “My favourite fuel is chocolate… What’s yours?”
Carry a small selection of your products on you as well as a few Chocolate Adventure catalogues!  All of these marketing tools are great ways to break the ice and start a conversation about your business!
Other simple ways to advertise what you do are by placing our Chocolate Adventure Bumper sticker on the back of your car. Our drink bottle stickers on your kids drink bottles, lunch boxes or even school books. A few of our Presenters have had banners made for fetes and market stalls. You can also have magnetic business cards made up for your car. We have all the artwork for these advertising methods ready for you to use, just email Jay atadmin@chocolateadventure.com.au and she will send you the relevant artwork ☺

CHOCOLATE BUSINESS

We’re realising just how short a year is with only 52 weeks. Valentine’s Day falls in week eight. Easter consumes most of week 14, Mother’s day pops up in week 20, we party at conference in week 22 and Father’s day week 37. We’re not joking, Father’s day falls on the same day as “Eat an extra dessert day”. And what week are we in now – week seven already! In excel =weeknum() formula calculates the week number of any date. Admin’s love for excel is right up there with our love for chocolate – Jay and Kay

Chocolate Adventure School Fundraising Option

We love to get great ideas from our Presenters and when someone mentioned school fundraising we jumped to the challenge. Trista is currently working on a fantastic school fundraising package that you can present to your local schools! We hope to make it a very worthwhile venture for schools and Presenters!  Who doesn’t love to eat chocolate?  Even better to give as a gift!!! With Mothers day coming up it would be ideal to have order forms into schools by mid March for collection end of March. We will have more information for you this time next week 🙂

Party-two-party

All the fun times two! Do a co-party with another consultant in a non-competing business.  It’s always fun to party with friends!  You can hold it in yours or your friends home or at a local community centre/church or even one of your guests home if you know them really well and they have lots of space! Both of you invite everyone you know, and ask others to help spread the word.  Hang up fliers advertising your event too, market it on fb and other social media networks.
